(FlowDDE)Parameternumbers:
Allparameterinformationisreferencedtotheparameternumber.Thisisauniquenumberforaparametertoavoid
redundancy.ThesenumbersareneededforDDEcommunicationonly.
For communication with FLOW‐BUS throughother ways than DDE: directly via RS232 ASCII‐strings or via C‐libraries
(DOS or Windows), use the parameter numbers for the FLOW‐BUS modules (in column FBnr of table Parameter
properties). Now you will always have to know the node‐address of the instrument on the FLOW‐BUS, the process
numberontheinstrumentandtheparameternumberontheinstrument.
Process
nr could be read from the table or has to be determined, when nothing is filled in. In most cases process
numberwillbe1.Node‐addressshouldbedeterminedalso.Thisisthenode‐addressoftheinstrumentontheFLOW‐
BUS. Newer RS232 protocols on Multibus instruments accept
node = 128. When sending messages to this node
address,themessagewillbealwaysaccepted,unregardingthenodeaddressoftheinstrumentonthebus.
